Franxicana Event

Opening Night

The opening of Franxicana began at Librairie La Rencontre in a deeply emotional and warm atmosphere, surrounded by friends, neighbors, local associations, and the surprise presence of my family who came from Mexico.

The welcoming words from one of the booksellers made the moment especially human and moving.

Between shared emotions, nervousness and the joy of feeling so supported, I ended up speaking simply from the heart.

Later, the evening continued at La Cale – Maison du Projet with live music, Mexican food, dancing and a large public gathering. Introduced by Fátima Rojas, president of the association Partager Baud-Chardonnet, I shared the origin of the exhibition and the collaborative activities developed during those weeks.

Despite the cold January weather, the evening was filled with human warmth.

A festive and human closing moment with Mexican food, words of gratitude, conversations and music to dance together, celebrating the connections created around the exhibition.
