Bio

Alicia María Sánchez Pérez is a Mexican visual artist.

She lives in Rennes, in constant dialogue with Mexico.

Her work explores the beauty of simplicity, hidden balance, and the dialogue between form and void. Through textures, accents of color, and refined compositions, she seeks to create unity and harmony, both in art and in life.

After a long professional career in design and visual communication, she now fully embraces her identity as an artist. Under the name Aliciama—born from the union of her names and the verb to love—she develops an artistic practice guided by intuition, sensitivity, and structure.

She co-founded Ocus, a branding agency based in Guadalajara, where for 18 years she supported the creation of numerous brands, contributing to the development of their identity and communication.

She was a faculty member at Tecnológico de Monterrey, Guadalajara campus, and has delivered workshops and lectures in academic, cultural, and corporate contexts.

She has collaborated on the design and illustration of publications and bilingual editions for a training institute in the United States.

She holds a degree in Graphic Design from the Faculty of Habitat (San Luis Potosí) and a Master’s degree in Visual Design from the Scuola Politecnica di Design in Milan.
